addiction-intro

Our compassionate, well-trained staff works with individuals on addiction treatment plans that build on strengths, help address issues that hurt relationships, and strive to re-engage people in work, school, family, and community. Treatment is based on a strong system of support for recovery.

We also recognize that individuals who suffer from substance use disorders or addiction can often benefit from mental health treatment. Many of our staff members are trained in both substance use disorder and mental health therapy.

If you are concerned about your use of alcohol or other substances, call us at 970.347.2120; we’ll help you find the right therapist or program.

Our Youth Substance Use Disorder Program is a comprehensive set of services that includes assessment and individual treatment planning for both the youth and his/her family. Therapy includes education and multi-family groups as well as individual and family sessions. Once active treatment is completed, we help facilitate participation in an after-care program.

addiction-true-northTrue North Intensive Services focus on the recovery of those whose lives are affected by the use and abuse of substances.

“Start off by being honest with yourself. We can help you work on the rest.” – Greg, True North Behavioral Health Worker/Drug Court Graduate

Our Residential Treatment program provides 45 days of intensive treatment to men and women 18 years of age and older. Residents are provided with structure and life skills training that help them build a healthy life and re-engage in their communities. Residents work with True North and North Range Behavioral Health staff, probation/parole officers, caseworkers, and families in recovery.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program is a 12-week treatment program that offers intensive treatment for adults who have significant problems in their lives because of the use, abuse, or addiction to alcohol or drugs. Read more about this program here [True North Intensive Outpatient Services PDF].

Drug Treatment Court integrates substance use disorder and mental health treatment as well as intensive supervision and judicial oversight to promote recovery and individual responsibility, to reduce crime, and to improve the quality of life for participants and their families.

Family Treatment Court helps families reunite or stay together while addressing substance use disorders and mental illness. Parents who participate receive a deferred Dependency and Neglect charge and keep their children in the home, have increased visitations, or may have their children returned home sooner. Families who demonstrate a need for housing may be able to live in supported housing to assist them in providing healthy, substance-free homes for their children. While in supported housing, they seek employment and then begin paying rent, striving to become independent of the program.
